The Behemoth is an American video game company that was founded on May 27, 2003 by John Baez, Nick Dryburgh, Tom Fulp, Brandon LaCava and Dan Paladin. Based in San Diego, California, they are known for their arcade-inspired games that are animated in Paladin's artstyle, with their best-known games being the Alien Hominid series and Castle Crashers.

1st Logo (June 2003-September 26, 2012)

Logo: A fat, white chicken that is entirely outlined in blue and is sitting down crashes into the ground, leaving behind a few feathers. "THE BEHEMOTH COMPANY" appears below the rotund bird, which looks at us, then turns back before zooming away to the top left corner.

  • On the console ports of Alien Hominid, the chicken lands on the preceding Newgrounds logo and crushes it, causing tank parts to fly everywhere and the background to change from black to white. "THE BEHEMOTH" appears below the rotund bird, which then looks at us before it zooms in and fades away.
    • On Castle Crashers, after the chicken crushes the Newgrounds logo, it pulls out a sword before multiple arrows are rapidly fired from the right side of the screen.
  • On the Game Boy Advance port of Alien Hominid, the logo is still.
  • On Super Soviet Missile Mastar, the logo is rendered entirely in white and 1-bit on a red background.

Technique: 2D Flash animation.
