Background

This is Peter Tolan's production company.

1st Logo (March 8, 1995-September 7, 2011)


Visuals: On a black background, a sky with clouds is shown inside a rectangular-shaped image. Underneath the image are the words "THE CLOUDLAND COMPANY", which are aligned in the center. The clouds slowly move upwards as new ones start to move slowly past it too.

Variants:

  • A slightly extended version exists.
  • An in-credit version also exists.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: A little kid softly saying "Cloudland." If you listen closely, some people can be heard laughing in the background after the voiceover.

Audio Variants:

  • CBS and ABC airings used a generic theme.
  • On The George Wendt Show, the closing theme finishes over this logo, followed by the voiceover (minus the laughing).

Availability: Seen on Rescue Me, Wednesday 9:30, The Job and the failed pilot of Fort Pit, among others. It was first seen on the short-lived ABC show The George Wendt Show.
