Background
This is the production company of Mitchell Hurwitz, the creator of Arrested Development.
1st Logo (April 6-27, 1999)
Logo: On a black background, we see the white text "THE HURWITZ COMPANY" in Copperplate Gothic font.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: The closing theme or NBC's generic theme with a voiceover.
Availability: Seen on the ultra short-lived series Everything's Relative.
Editor's Note: Not as much effort here compared to the next logos.
2nd Logo (September 24, 2001-January 11, 2002)
Logo: On a brown background, we see the embossed gray words with two lines, "The Hurwitz Company." There's some drawn lines behind the text.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: The closing theme.
Availability: Seen on The Ellen Show.
Editor's Note: This and the following logos are a drastic improvement over the previous logo.
3rd Logo (November 2, 2003-February 10, 2006)
Logo: On a white background, just the text "The Hurwitz Company" in the font of Arrested Development slides in leftwards.
FX/SFX: The sliding in.
Music/Sounds: A soundbite from the Arrested Development theme.
Availability: Seen on the first three seasons of Arrested Development.
Editor's Note: This is a memorable logo for those who grew up watching 'Arrested Development on Fox.
4th Logo (May 26, 2013-March 15, 2019)
Logo: On a white background, four things (two are black, while the other two are orange) quickly form a square, while the texts "The" from left and "Hurwitz Company" from right sliding centerwards, and a curve arrow draws itself points to the texts.
Trivia: This logo is based on the opening sequence of Arrested Development.
Variant: On Flaked, the logo shares the screen with the A Thousand Words, Ltd. logo above, and the orange squares are not seen.
FX/SFX: The forming of the logo.
Music/Sounds: Same as the third logo. On Flaked, the closing theme.
Availability: Seen on Arrested Development (starting with the fourth season), Lady Dynamite, and Flaked.
Editor's Note: None.
