Background

The Jim Henson Legacy is a non-profit organization founded by Jim's wife, Jane Henson, in 1992. It is intended to archive his rarer works and keep Jim Henson's legacy alive through screenings, museum exhibits, and convention panels. Craig Shemin is the current president.

Visuals: There is a drawing by Jim Henson himself of a bird holding an umbrella. The bird is wearing light green sandals. It is located in a white box within a green rectangle, which reads "THE JIM HENSON LEGACY". Copyright information is to the bottom right.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: The closing music of the documentary.

Availability: Appeared at the end of this obscure Jim Henson documentary on Vimeo, possibly titled Jim Henson: In His Own Words (not to be confused with the similarly named documentary from PBS). After much mystery, it has been confirmed that the documentary was never released by itself, but was shown at the Smithsonian exhibition "Jim Henson's Fantastic World", which toured from 2007 to 2012.
