Not to be confused with the new television company of the same name.
Background
The Komack Company was a production company founded and owned by James Komack.
Logo (September 13, 1974-June 8, 1979)
Visuals: Superimposed on the end credits of shows would be this text:
A Production of
THE KOMACK
COMPANY, INC.
An "and" is seen either under the company's name or over the Wolper Productions name, which precedes this.
Variants:
- Sometimes, the "O" in "KOMACK" is in the shape of James Komack's hairstyle and mustache. The logo was designed by Sandy Dvore.
- On the short-lived Me and Maxx, the text is read as:
A Production Of
James Komack
Company, Inc.
"James Komack" is written in a rather childish font, and there's a copyright stamp underneath.
Technique: None. It's superimposed.
Audio: The end theme of thw show.
Availability: Only seen on Chico and the Man and Welcome Back, Kotter.
