Background
The Neverhood was the production company of Earthworm Jim creator Doug TenNapel, founded in 1996 after he left Shiny Entertainment. It is best known for producing the video game of the same name. After the failure of Boombots, the studio went defunct in 1999. However, Neverhood employees Mike Dietz and Ed Schofield revived the studio as Pencil Test Studios in 2009.
1st Logo (October 31, 1996)
Visuals: On a yellowed-white background with a red line, there are drawings of odd-looking people doing various things. Below them is a brown oval with the text "Software by:" in a hand-drawn font, and below that is the text "THe NEVERHOOD", with "THe" in a wacky font, underlined green, and "NEVERHOOD" in a bold grungy font, also underlined green.
Technique: A still, hand-drawn graphic.
Audio: Just the sound of Klogg laughing, which is used later in the game.
