We see two side-by-side childhood school pictures of Tim Scott (left) and Rich Kronfeld (right). In between them, we see a small image of a squirrel eating a peanut, steadily rising from the bottom to the top of the screen. As the squirrel rises, the images of the children fade away to reveal a black-and-white video capture of several silhouettes observing an ongoing nuclear explosion in the distance (likely from an old instructional video about the hazards of nuclear war). As the squirrel approaches the top, its eyes turn from black to red.

Background

The Scott-Kronfeld Experience was founded by Tim Scott and Rich Kronfeld in 2001. In partnership with Comedy Central Productions, they produced and distributed nationally-syndicated version of Let's Bowl!, a scripted game show that featured Kronfeld as one of the hosts. The production company was an evolution of the earlier Big Bladder Pictures, which produced and distributed an earlier iteration of Let's Bowl! to St. Paul-Minneapolis television stations.

THE

SCOTT-KRONFELD

EXPERIENCE

are shown in a bolded, white font with a black outline.

Variants:

None.

FX/SFX:

The fading of the children's photos to the capture of the nuclear explosion. The silhouettes in front of the explosion can be seen moving from right to left. Over top of all of this is the squirrel moving from the bottom to the top of the screen.

Music/Sounds:

The music can be best described as an eerie orchestral score from an old film. When the squirrel's eyes turn red, two "zaps" of electricity can be heard.

Music/Sounds Variants:

None.

Availability:

Extinct. Was only used on the Comedy Central version of Let's Bowl!, which stopped airing in 2002.

Editor's Note:

Younger viewers may find the music, nuclear explosion, and red-eyed squirrel unnerving. However, most will find this to be a humorous logo.
