Background

This is the production company of Ron West, Chris Henz, J.B. Roberts and Willie Mercer, founded in 2002. It was formerly known as Tagline Television.

Tagline Television

(July 7, 2006-September 25, 2015)

Logo: On a black background, we see green lines drawing the word "LINE", then "tag" slams to it as the text "television" fades in spaced out. There is a line that goes through the word "LINE".

Variant:

  • Sometimes, the text below reads "pictures".
  • On Man Up!, the logo shares the screen with the Bicycle Path Productions logo. Also, the logo has a lens flare and the word "LINE" fades in.

Technique: The lines drawing, the words slamming.

Music/Sounds: A whoosh sound followed by a bang. On The Burn with Jeff Ross and Jeff Ross Roasts America, a 6-note guitar-driven tune plays over.

Availability: Seen on Psych, 100 Questions, Man Up!, The Burn with Jeff Ross and Jeff Ross Roasts America. Last used on the film Ashby.

Thruline Entertainment

(December 7, 2017-)

Logo: Same as above, but the lines are now light blue, with the words now reading "THRULINE entertainment". The forming of the logo appears in a similar fashion to before.

Variant:

  • A still version exists.
  • Sometimes, the logo is entirely white on a black background.
  • On Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle, the logo is on a white background with the text in gray.
  • On Malevolent, the logo scrolls up in-credit.
  • On The Great, the logo is next to the Echo Lake Entertainment logo.

Technique: Same as above.

Music/Sounds: Same as above, or the closing theme. On Historical Roasts, the bang sound is replaced by another whoosh.

Availability: Seen on the Psych movies, Historical Roasts, as well as Malevolent, Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle, and The Great on Hulu.
