Background

This was the children's division of Time-Life Video.

1st Logo (1994-1998)

Visuals: On a black background is a cube in a 3D perspective with a red top. The Time-Life logo is on the left of the cube while "Kids" in a blue section is to the right. A small white trademark symbol is next to the right section of the box.

Technique: None.

Audio: The closing theme of the program.

Audio Variant: On the Beginner's Bible VHS series, the logo has the tail end of the Jumbo Pictures logo music.

Availability: Seen on children's releases from the period such as The Beginner's Bible.

2nd Logo (1998-2002)

Visuals: On a gray background, we see the Time-Life Kids logo bouncing and coming into view, while a spotlight follows it. Then, it jumps while emitting sparkles; and when the camera zooms out, it shakes and launches various yellow, purple and green sparkles from the top. At the end, the camera zooms in to reveal the finished product with the red top having a star nebula and the logo with brighter colors and "Kids" in a different font. Also, the spotlight is colored yellow.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A deep-glockenspiel theme with a patriotic timpani rhythm. After, we hear a fantasy music crescendo with various sparkling chimes and a mystical flute section. It ends with a seven-note trombone theme.

Availability: Seen on children's releases from the period such as Animal Alphabet, The Big Comfy Couch, and The Adventures of Paddington Bear.
