Background

Todd-AO DVD is the DVD authoring unit of the Todd-AO company.

The logo starts at 3:09.

Visuals: On a background as a DVD disc, we saw the black and white shadows of the logo Todd-AO DVD in a few of themes the text is blue, and the logo zooms out and hits the background then splash like water drips in slowly reversed.

Variants: On the 1999 DVD of New Christmas Classics Series, a still version appeared on a black background and the logo is silver.

Technique: Cool 2D animation.

Audio: A harp flourish, which soon blends into a bell flourish.

Availability:

  • Seen at the end of the Artisan Entertainment DVDs of The Tangerine Bear, The Substitute 4: Failure Is Not an Option, and The Miracle Maker: The Story of Jesus.
  • It also appears on the 2000 Trimark DVD of Hercules in New York, and the Viz Video DVDs such as the 2004-05 reissues of Pokémon: Psychic Surprise and Picture Perfect as well on some Sony Music Video DVDs.
