Background

These are the Stay Tuned bumpers from the Tom and Jerry show on CBS. They were made by Chuck Jones at MGM Animation/Visual Arts.

Bumper (1965-1972)


Visuals: There are over six or eight bumpers like this but from them it can count:

  • Break from cartoon #1: Tom and Jerry are seen riding skateboards. Tom is seen attempting to grab Jerry with both of his hands. Jerry soon realizes what is happening and quickly turns around. Tom then turns his head around, not realizing he is still rolling along the street. He soon falls into the hole of a sewer.
