Background
Tong Hsing Film Co., Ltd. was a film production company based in Taiwan. Tong Hsing produced Super Riders, a series of three tokusatsu movies, which are Taiwanese adaptations of four Kamen Rider featurettes, all directed by Lin Chung-Kuang and officially authorized by Toei.
(November 11, 1975-July 17, 1976)
Visuals: On a space background, a model of the globe lights up and slowly zooms-in. Few seconds later at the bottom of the screen, the Tong Hsing logo (a five-ringed atom with the electrons at the top-half and a linked TS in the middle) and company name:
TONG HSING FILM CO., LTD.
in gold fade in.
Technique: Live-action and rostrum camera.
Audio: A 70's tokusatsu fanfare.
Audio Variant: On The Five of Super Riders, the fanfare is accompanied with a flute, alongside with an ascending synth noise.
Availability: Only seen on the Super Riders movies: The Super Rider V3, The Five of Super Riders and The Super Rider.
Legacy: The cheapness is easily noticeable, such as the blurry footage of lights to represent stars and the globe wobbling.
