Background

Torque Game Builder and its improvements were developed by GarageGames on the base of original Torque developed by Dynamix in 2001. It's used mainly by independent developers for middle-sized games.

(2001?- )

Logo: On a white background, we see 3 interlocking red "T"'s with "TORQUE GAME BUILDER" in a futuristic font.

Variants:

  • On some games, we see the logo on a blue background containing the Torque Game Builder and GarageGames logos, and we also see "POWERED BY" in between the logo and the text. 2 red triangles are seen next to the text.
    • On Marble Blast Ultra, the 2 red triangles have been replaced by lines, the "POWERED BY" text is moved to above the logo, the text "TORQUE GAME BUILDER" has been changed to "TORQUE SHADER ENGINE", and a red triangle is added underneath the "A".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None, or the opening theme of the game.

Availability: On almost every game using modified Torque Builder. The "Torque Shader Engine" variant appears on Marble Blast Ultra.
