1st Logo (1987?-1990)

TOEMI VideoToshiba EMI Beach

Logo: On a black background, complicated shapes zoom out rotating and turning. The shapes then interlock to form the logo, which is "TOEMI VIDEO", in an 80's font, with the M and the V connected together. The logo then zooms to reveal a seashore. TOSHIBA EMI is chyroned in the shot.

FX/SFX: The spinning and interlocking of the shapes, and the zooming in of the logo. Toshiba EMI is cheaply chyroned in.

Music/Sounds: A fantasy-oriented synth fanfare.

Availability: Extremely rare. Seen on early releases from the company.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (1990?-)

Toshiba EMI

Logo:On a white stone background, many blocks fly around as sketches of the logo appear. Parts of the logo fly onto the sketches to form the logo in green. As it completes forming. The blocks disappear, the logo rotates to the center of the screen, and the background becomes black.

FX/SFX:The zooming, blocks, and forming of the logo.

Variant: A still version exists.

Music/Sounds: A harp note throughout the logo as a strange series of downward xylophone scales plays throughout.

Availability: Uncommon. Seen on anime and concerts from the company. Also spotted on promotional videos. The still and animated version is very rare in USA but common in Japan; it appears on certain Funimation releases, possibly Japanese-dubbed anime.
