Background
Transmundo Home Video was the Argentinan distributor of Cannon Films and Virgin Vision. Later on, it had become Transeuropa Home Video.
Logo (1987-1990)
Visuals: On a space background, a gold galaxy slowly zooms in as a photo of the Earth flies in a arc over to the screen. As it settles, the text "THV", in the same exact font as HTV's logo, but with the first two letters switched and the "T" being longer, flies in over the Earth, along with an outline of it on the bottom. Both of them "flip" into place and the text "TRANSMUNDO HOME VIDEO S.A." flies over onto the bottom right of the picture.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A whoosh, followed by a catchy synth-keyboard tune. Later on, it has been replaced with a different, more droning synth tune.
Availability: Can be seen on Argentine prints of The Brave Little Toaster and Silent Night, Deadly Night.
