These are the logo variations seen on trailer throughout the years by TriStar Pictures, with more to be added overtime.

No Mercy (1986): The "Pegasus Over Pyramid" logo is red on a black background.

Total Recall (1990): The logo is on a nighttime sky filled with stars, a 2-D image of the Tri-Star Pictures logo zooms out and warps away. This was seen on the teaser trailer of the film, though other trailers had another version like this but with the Carolco Pictures logo.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991): A shot of the exoskeleton Terminator in front of a flame background flashes a few times over the 1991 logo. Other versions of the trailer use the Carolco Pictures logo.

Bugsy (1991): A camera flashes once over the logo.

Hook (1991): The logo eases back down-left and goes to the storybook. A teaser for it has the "Pegasus Over Pyramid" logo in the print of the storybook. A TV spot has the logo sliced through by Hook's claw.

Tristar Pictures (Hook trailer variant) TriStar Pictures (1991 Hook teaser) TriStar Pictures (1991 Hook TV spot)

Chaplin (1992): The logo flickers like an old film on a film projector.

Cliffhanger (1993): The 1991 logo zooms in. Only seen on the TV spots. One version had the logo superimposed on footage from the film. Another version has the logo flashing in.

The background is white and the print logo is black, and then cross-fades into footage of the film. Only seen on one Australian TV spot.

Sleepless in Seattle (1993): The logo is tinted in gold and turns into an envelope. Seen on the international TV spot.

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994): The logo cross-fades into the storm clouds.

Godzilla (1998): The logo flashes in the negative effect twice as the Pegasus stretches its wings.

  • The first teaser trailer, after the Pegasus stretches its wings, the background flashes into New York City background with thunderstorms leaving the text and the Pegasus intact for a brief second before the screen flashes again.

Madeline (1998): Madeline's red hat flies past the usual logo.

Universal Soldier: The Return (1999): When the logo is complete, it zooms to Pegasus and flashes away. Only on the theatrical trailer.

  • On the first TV Spot, the logo plays in warp-speed and splits in half to reveal S.E.T.H. (played by Michael Jai White).
