TriStar Pictures Productions was an independent production company founded by Lang Elliott in 1978 and was based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Logo (November 1979-April 17, 1980)
Visuals: On a black background is the text:
A TriStar Pictures Production
which appears in a white Serpentine font. Coming out of the "i" in "Tristar" are three shooting stars going, up, left and right. Also, the "s" from "Tristar" is bigger than the other letters.
Technique: This logo is a still image filmed by a cameraman.
Audio: Just the opening theme to the movie.
Availability: This TriStar only produced two movies: The Prize Fighter and The Private Eyes starring Tim Conway and Don Knotts, both of which were distributed by New World Pictures.
