Background
True Entertainment was an American television production company formed in 2000 by Steven Weinstock and Glenda Hersh, both of whom had previously worked for The New York Times. It focused on television programs in the genres of reality and documentaries. In 2003, Endemol USA acquired a majority stake in the company. In 2017, True Entertainment merged with Original Media to form Truly Original.
1st Logo (2000-March 9, 2004)
Visuals: On a black background, a bunch of purple shards form a bar in the middle, revealing "TRUE" in its negative space. "enter", "tain" and "ment" fade in stacked next to the word.
Technique: 2D computer graphics.
Audio: The end title theme of the show.
Availability: It was seen on Soap Center on SOAPnet and the first season of Whose Wedding is it Anyway?.
2nd Logo (October 12, 2004-May 14, 2017)
Visuals: It's just the standard Endemol logo from the period, but with the text reading "true entertainment" and a byline reading "an endemol company" below, both in the Officina Sans Std-Bold font.
Variant: Starting in 2009, the text is aligned to the left, the font is different, and the eye's animation is altered.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Either the 2001 or 2011 Endemol theme.
Availability: It's seen on Whose Wedding is it Anyway? on Style Network, seasons 1-9 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and seasons 1-5 of Don't Be Tardy on Bravo. Also seen on Zoneheads and Mother Funders.
