Background

UGC Fox Distribution was formed by UGC and 20th Century Fox to distribute movies across France. Ultimately it was absorbed into the French division of Fox in 2005.

(1995-2005)

Logo: On a black background, the blue letters "UFD" rotate around at an angle while 2 searchlights scroll across the sky. When the letters stop, the searchlights freeze at a crossing point and the letters are taken into a grey box with white searchlights. Below, "UGC FOX DISTRIBUTION" can be seen below in a squashed font.

FX/SFX: The rotating letters and searchlights.

Music/Sounds: A short horn fanfare with percussion heard through out.

Availability: Rare. Seen on French releases of Fox films among others, such as Amélie, mostly before the UGC logo.

Editor's Note: None.
