Background

UVI Video Productions (Universal Video Imports) was a American-Italian video distribution company based in Yonkers, New York. It was active through 1985 to 1999.

Nicknames: "UM Video Productions", "Cinehollywood Thief", "SuperVideo's Cousin"

Logo: On a pink background with orange & black circles, the UVI Video Productions logo (a yellow & white square with a green rounded square and the words "UVI VIDEO PRODUCTIONS" in it) appears via a flipping effect.Then the logo disappears via the same effect. And then the word "PRESENTA" fade in and then fade out.

FX/SFX: VERY cheap computer animation, with overuse of chyron effects.

Music/Sounds: The jingle.

Availability: Extremely rare, can be found on Italian-American Public Domain VHS tapes from the time, such asGuardie E Ladri.
