Background

Unicorn Production Inc. was a South Korean home video distributor.

Logo (1990s)


Visuals: In a black background with white, blue and green smoke (excerpted from Interstellar Laser Fantasy), there is a golden 2D unicorn flying from the left of the screen. There is also a circle with the silhouette of the unicorn. The unicorn flies around the circle, causing it to flip vertically. Then the unicorn is placed into the circle, causing the unicorn's cone to shine on the top. Then, the Hangul words rise upwards. The English words "Unicorn Production Inc" are placed on the bottom right. The unicorn shines.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: Same as the 1976 Columbia Pictures logo.

Availability: Check for Korean thrift shops to find VHS tapes with the Unicorn Production Inc. label on the spine. [Examples?]
