1st Logo (April 4, 1997-1999)

Visuals: On a sky background, a UFO flies in from the top portion of the screen towards the viewer, which then backs away a bit as the silver text "U F O" flies in from the bottom and places itself below the UFO, which also causes the UFO to turn metallic. At the moment it stops, a black background fades in against the sky background, where we can see the UFO inside a silver filmstrip as wel as the text "U F O" turning red. Underneath is the company's name "UNIFIED FILM ORGANISATION LLC".

Variants: One particular variant has the UFO scene tinted blue.

Technique: All of it is done in CGI.

Audio: The sounds of the UFO followed by a whoosh when the text flies in, followed by a sudden bang and even more sounds of a UFO at the end.

Availability: It was mostly seen on their earliest films, including The Last Line of Defence.

2nd Logo (January 26, 2001-May 11, 2002)

Visuals: On a black background, a shiny blue metallic filmstrip containing a UFO with "U F O" fades in and is seen slowly zooming out to the middle. Once it stops, the text "UNIFIED FILM ORGANIZATION" fades in underneath the filmstrip, with moving smoke inside it.

Variants:

  • The filmstrip may vary in color depending on the film.
  • On Lost Voyage, the screen is seen to be constantly glitching, which causes the filmstrip to change color and the company name to abruptly appear below after the 2nd glitch.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Mostly the opening theme of the movie.

Audio Variant: Lost Voyage uses a creepy ambient soundtrack with the sounds of glitching.

Availability: Seen on Mach 2 and Lost Voyage, among other films they've produced during the time.

3rd Logo (2002-May 3, 2003)

Visuals: On a black background, the same filmstrip and text from before but in orange fades in with rays of light shining behind it. The rays then disappear after a few seconds to make the filmstrip and the text more visible. Orange foggy clouds can be seen rushing by inside the filmstrip and text.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A suspenseful rising soundtrack which ends suddenly as the rays disappear.

Availability: Seen on Silent Warnings and a rare Australian VHS print of Dog Soldiers.
