Background

United Pixtures was a little-known company known for developing the PC CD-ROM version of the infamous game Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, of which only a few copies were made. This version of the game was discovered on March 21, 2017, and can be downloaded here.

Logo (December 31, 1993)

Visuals: On a black background, there is an image of a clown painting in a light brownish background. Outside of the painting, there is the italic cursive text "United Pixtures) and the following copyright notice below:

All Rights Reserved

Trivia: The painting (minus the text) also appears within one of the game's cutscenes.

Closing Variant: There is the same logo except that the clown painting is now on the top of the screen and is smaller, while the italic cursive text along with the copyright text is seen below the painting.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: A loud bang, followed the opening menu theme of the game.

Availability: Seen on the original PC version of Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, which was lost for over two decades until being found in March 2017.
