1st Logo (1980s)
Logo: On a blue gradient surface, we see a yellow circle rising. Shortly after it stops rising, a silhouette of a reindeer walks into the front of the circle as it grunts. Then, "United Platinum Video" in a chrome effect and arc wipes around the circle and "UPV by Beate Uhse" in a silver color wipes below it. The arced text shines for the rest of the logo.
Technique: Simple and primitive animation.
Audio: A soft synth tune that becomes more bombastic near the end of the logo. There are also the sounds of the reindeer walking as well as it grunting.
Availability: Unknown.
