Background
Universal Belo Productions was a joint venture between Universal Press Syndicate and the Belo Corporation, formed in 1989. It was formed to produce shows based on UPS properties, but in the end only really made the children's science show Beakman's World, based on the newspaper comic You Can with Beakman and Jax. After Beakman's World was cancelled in 1998, Belo quietly ended the venture.
1st Logo (September 16, 1992-May 22, 1993)
Visuals: Over a tall blue rectangle on a black background, there are the large sized letters "UB" connected to each other, with the stacked and underlined words "UNIVERSAL BELO PRODUCTIONS" below.
Technique: A still digital graphic.
Audio: The ending theme of the show.
Availability: Seen on season 1 of Beakman's World.
2nd Logo (September 18, 1993-January 4, 1998)
Visuals: There is the same logo from before, but now colored light blue and stretched a little more horizontally, zooming out onto a blue background.
Technique: Motion-controlled animation.
Audio: A whoosh sound, which is either carried out from the ending theme or cuts it off early. On season 2's first episode, we just hear the ending theme without any sort of other sounds.
Availability: Seen on seasons 2-4 of Beakman's World.
