Background

Universal Belo Productions was a joint venture between Universal Press Syndicate and the Belo Corporation, formed in 1989. It was formed to produce shows based on UPC properties, but in the end only really made the children's science show Beakman's World, based on the newspaper comic You Can with Beakman and Jax. After Beakman's World ended, Belo quietly ended the venture.

1st Logo (September 16, 1992-May 22, 1993)

Logo: On a tall blue rectangle on a black background, we see the large sized letters "UB" connected to each other, with the stacked and underlined words "UNIVERSAL BELO PRODUCTIONS" underneath it.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Only seen on season 1 of Beakman's World.

Editor's Note: TBA

2nd Logo (September 18, 1993-August 1, 1998)

Logo: We see the same logo from before, but now colored light blue and stretched a little more horizonally, zooming out onto a blue background.

FX/SFX: The logo zooming out.

Music/Sounds: A whoosh sound, which is either carried out from the ending theme or cuts it off early. Sometimes we just hear the ending theme without any sort of other sounds.
