NBC Universo is an American pay television channel owned by the NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises subsidiary of NBCUniversal. The network serves as a companion cable channel to the NBCUniversal's flagship broadcast television network NBC and, to some extent, its Spanish network Telemundo. This network is launched at October 10, 1993 as GEMS Television & was ever since aimed at Hispanic Adults between the ages of 18 and 49, where the majority of its programming consists mainly of sports, scripted and reality series, and music programming. The network is headquartered in Miami Springs, Florida, while its master control operations are housed at the CNBC Global Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

1st Logo (2015-2017)

Logoː Against a rainy background, we see blood dripping where it leaves space for the NBC peacock to resemble. Once the blood is done dripping, the background changes to a table with the top of a pumpkin seen in center & half of the company name can be seen. A split second later, the pumpkin gets cut in half where the top half shows the NBC Peacock as a pumpkin. Then the screen glitches, making the background black, the company name a red outline, & the Peacock is purple & red. It then cuts to a black map background with 6 wooden drop-shaped icons resembling the Peacock. Then a metal outline of the Peacock lands on it & blood is splattered. Then the wooden icons turn into chains & we move away from the peacock to resemble a stone wall with blood on the left side & the company name in black next to the peacock. Smoke can noticeably be resembled behind the peacock.

FX/SFXː Modern 2D Animation & Live-Action.

Music/Soundsː A suspenseful theme can be heard in the majority of the logo. Blood dripping, an Electrical Buzz, a chop sound, Sci-Fi sounds, a smash, & a women screaming can also be heard in the logo.

Availabilityː Extinct on Television.

Editor's Noteː The eerie sounds, the addition to blood, the unnerving theme, & the jarring animation can scare many, making it the creepiest logo/ID from Comcast. However, it's intentional due to it being a halloween ID & the fact it premieres Mature shows.

2nd Logo (2016-)

Logoː We see the Peacock & the company name (or a part of it) flash while the background changes colors.

Variantː

  • A variant is known to exist where the colors are different.
  • An On Demand version exists where it's lime green & it has a play button.

FX/SFXː 2D Animation.

Music/Soundsː A drum theme is heard, where it's different in each variant.

Availabilityː Current. It's commonly seen on programs from them.
