Background

Upland Films Corporate Limited was a film company from Hong Kong.

Logo (September 30, 1993-March 14, 1996)

Visuals: On a night sky background from which we slowly pan down, a huge, shiny prism slowly zooms out rotating. A spectrum is seen through the prism. As it settles down, a vermilion filmstrip flies around it and loops a circle over it briefly, leaving a ring of thirty-one very tiny gold stars above it, a la the Paramount Pictures logo, and inside the prism, leaving a piece of the filmstrip making the letter "U". Then, the filmstrip flies horizontally underneath the prism, leaving the text "UPLAND FILMS CORPORATE LIMITED" below, along with the Chinese characters for it.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A triumphant, dramatic synth-orchestra fanfare. Sometimes, a crystalized synth-orchestra tune is heard. Otherwise, its the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on Legend of the Red Dragon (1994), High Risk (1995) and possibly on other HK movies.
