Background

Eternity Media Group (Known as MINISTRYCRAFT 35 from 2016-20, Ministrycraft Entertainment from 2020-21, and Eternity Entertainment from 2021-22) is an Australian based YouTube channel, centred around logos and other graphic design content, with occasional short films included.

Ministrycraft Entertainment

1st Logo (2019-2020)

Visuals: against a black background, we zoom past a stylised 'M', in blue. When the camera settles into place, the text "MINISTRYCRAFT 35" fades in along with the byline "A MINISTRYCRAFT ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY", both in Proxima Nova Black. The logo shines.

Trivia: the logo design here is based on the infamous Screen Gems "S from Hell".

Technique: CGI, created in Blender.

Audio: none.

Availability: only appears on a DreamWorks Animation logo evolution video.

2nd Logo (September 3, 2020-March 31, 2021)

Visuals: against a black background, we see the same stylised "M" from before, shining in via blue volumetric light.

Technique: Same as above.

Audio: None.

Availability: Only ever appeared as a standalone upload.

Eternity Entertainment

(March 31, 2021-October 31,2022)

Visuals: A bright flash engulfs the screen. Once it dims, the Eternity Entertainment logo is revealed, consisting of the italicised word "ETERNITY" set in Impact, with the "N" being replaced with a yellow lightning bolt. The word "ENTERTAINMENT" fades in below the "ITY".

Technique: simple CGI, created in Blender.

Audio: A stock thunderclap sound when the logo flashes or the closing theme of the film.

Availability: Debuted on YouTube, with its first usage being on "Eternity's Speed Chess". It later appeared at the end of the short film "Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb".

Eternity Media Group

1st logo (2nd logo placeholder)(October 31, 2022)

Visuals: Same as the Eternity Entertainment logo, but enhanced with more bloom and without the word "ENTERTAINMENT".

Technique: CGI, created in Blender.

Audio: Same as the Eternity Entertainment logo.

Availability: Only appeared as a placeholder on "Project Extraction". A custom 500 subscriber logo was used on the 500 subscriber special, and a brand new print logo was introduced in 2023.

2nd logo (April 21, 2023-)

Visuals: against a backdrop of stormy clouds, bright yellow sparks form on the right of screen. The sparks start forming the word "ETERNITY" out of steel, letter by letter in reverse, set in a futuristic font. As the sparks reach the end of the word, a yellow lightning bolt forms next to the first "E", creating a shockwave that makes the logo appear 2D as the background fades to black and the words "MEDIA GROUP" fade in below the "ITY", set in Rubik Bold Italic. Everything then fades to black.

Trivia: This logo was designed by LuRK and debuted on January 31st, 2023. Several prior concepts were experimented with, before EMG's founder requested that the new design maintain the lightning bolt motif from the prior branding package.

Variant: On early EMG distributed episodes of The Evolution of Logos, the print logo simply fades in and out on a black background.

Closing Variant: a still shot of the finished product, though the storm background and steel texture remains intact.

Technique: Computer animation, done in house, once again using Blender.

Audio: Rolling thunder, which builds in volume before a stronger crack is heard when the lightning bolt appears.

Availability: Brand New. First appeared on the Eternity Media Group Discord server, before debuting on the YouTube channel.
