Background

GarageGames was founded in Eugene, Oregon in 2000 by four people from Dynamix Software. They were most known for their Marble Blast game series, of which the first game in the series was released in 2001. In 2007, InterActive Corporation (IAC) acquired a majority interest in GarageGames, and the company was renamed InstantAction. In late 2010, InstantAction filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. On January 20, 2011, the GarageGames brand was acquired by Graham Software Development, re-launching the company again with its original name.
