My top 10 favorite logos

  1. Paramount Pictures (2012) Easily my favorite logo of all time. The gorgeous animation combined with that music easily makes this one a winner.
  2. DTS (1993) My most mainstream logo by far. It's obvious that I love this logo, considering my pfp and signature.
  3. Universal Pictures (1990, 1997, and 2012) All of these logos just have the same, amazing concept with great fanfares.
  4. Walt Disney Pictures (2006) Oh boy, this is a beautiful logo. Not only is the logo very realistic, but the animation just looks amazing, combined with one of the best fanfares i've ever heard.
  5. Village Roadshow Pictures (1998) Their previous logos are great, but this one is easily the best. The logo has great animation and music overall.
  6. Lionsgate (2013) The 2006 logo is already great enough, but the fanfare in this one, combined with the cool animation makes this Lionsgate's best logo to this date.
  7. 20th Century Studios (1994, 2009, and 2020) They all have the same reason: The iconic fanfare combined with its unique animation.
  8. MGM (2021) This is by far the best MGM logo. This was the first time we saw a CGI lion, a fanfare, unique animation, and what "ARS GRATIA ARTIS" meant (It meant "ART FOR ART'S SAKE").
  9. DreamWorks Pictures (1997) I just love the beautiful fanfare and its animation.
  10. HBO Feature Presentation (1982, 1999, and 2017) These logos are all just incredible with some of the best effects and elements.

Honorable Mentions: Pixar (1995), Warner Bros. Pictures (1998, 2021, and 2023), Columbia Pictures (1993 and 2024), TriStar Pictures (All of their logos overall), Deluxe Digital Studios (2006), etc.

My top 10 least favorite logos

  1. Photo Video (1988) This is EASILY the worst logo ever!!! The extremely unnecessary fireworks and "flowers", the horrible quality, the low-quality music, the seizure-inducing trail effects, and the very long length makes me despise this logo SO MUCH! This logo is so terrible, all of the other logos below are better than this garbage.
  2. Speedy Video (1996) The animation is super cheap, the music is low-quality, and the font looks ugly. What logo is worse than this? The one above, of course.
  3. The Video Bancorp (1990) Not only does it have no animation at all and not only does it go on for 20 seconds, but the logo was made from Microsoft Paint! They didn't even try to make a good logo.
  4. Class Video (Late 1980s) The animation is STUPIDLY slow and awful and the music is nearly quiet! Worst Argentinian logo by far!
  5. Vijetha Video (2000s?) Wow, they just HAD to steal from one of my favorite logos!!! I mean, it LITERALLY SAYS "DTS" CLEARLY!!! WORST RIP-OFF LOGO EVER!!!
  6. Horror Factory (2015) The animation looks good, but I included it here because in my opinion, I find it as the scariest logo. Aside from that, it's far better than the other logos on the list in terms of animation and the identity.
  7. Shera Films (2012) THIS IS FROM 2012!? SERIOUSLY!? This looks like its from the 60s!!!
  8. Summit Entertainment (2018) The removal of the mountains, the uninspiring animation, and the byline being longer than the actual name makes this logo change a heartbreak.
  9. Starz (2016) and NBCUniversal Television Distribution (2011) Unnecessary simplifications from two great logos.
  10. FADYO (2004) They didn't have to steal from a great logo and two copyrighted songs! Not to mention that their own animation is terrible.

Dishonorable Mentions: Photo Video (1993), Third Eye Post Production Studios (2016), Ramsay Films (1975), SuperVideo (1983?), Laser Video (1993), etc.
