Regarding your section addition to Regal Cinemas

Hello, DogeDestroyer. Please don't publish blank or otherwise unfinished sections to mainspace articles as you did with Regal Cinemas, as we don't desire such additions for quality control reasons. Sorry about that, I was trying to add 2 more openings I found but for some strange reason, when I left the descriptions with TBA, since I didn't had that much time to think of a good opening description, AVID didn't allow me to publish it, so I had to leave the video there with that opening's description, etc. unfinished. Hello, DogeDestroyer. Your recent section addition appears to be missing examples. Simply stating "found on their releases" is a form of section misuse that doesn't give any specific information where it can be found. Please keep that in mind, as readers want to know what specific releases contain the bumper. Also, we no longer allow the use of POV terms such as "we see" as they set the article in a conversational tone, something we have been trying to shift away from and more towards formality. Pathe logo

So it seems that on the AVID Discord there is debate as to whether the video embed you added is a real find or not. Can you explain how it was found? I believe that is also your channel. For the record, I think it's real, it's just that people thing it looks fake. EDIT: Starting to have my own doubts now that it has been pointed out that the static is identical to Mr. Gann's Pathe Video capture, please reply and explain whether you edited the "video" text out of the capture or not. The Pathe logo you "found" is fake.

Hi DogeDestroyer, the Pathe logo you found is a fake. It is badly edited and has the same artifacts as the ones on Mr Gann's upload of the Pathe Video/Chargeurs logos. When the logo fades out, the rectangle below "PATHE" is in a different quality from the rest of the logo. Falsifying logo finds is a violation of our editing guidelines and may result in a block. Temporary sitewide block notice

It has come to my attention that you have documented another "fake" logo variant, in this case being the following: File:2nd Alternate Pathe-Chaguers Variant .png. Because of this, and taking account a previous warning regarding the same issue, your account has been blocked temporarily albeit roughly the same length as your previous ban about two years ago. I will give it that the finds you have made might be accidental as the editing in these captures can easily deceive logo hunters into documenting them into the wiki. However, you need to be extra careful in determining their authenticity next time especially if there is no source provided for the variant. You can do that by checking the description of the video you found the logo from to spot any inconsistencies or missing details. Analyzing the video very closely will help too in catching specific details that may not be seen in a real capture, not to mention the type of medium (e.g. film, television) the logo is used for.
In the end, you did try to improve your acknowledgement that fakes are not allowed on the wiki, so the big takeaway is to again, put further analysis and research into a possibly fake capture. Thank you for your understanding. Camenati (talk) 23:40, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

Well here's one thing. The Video I found. It's actually true. I've been trying to find that variant since I first saw it on the Logo History for Pathe by DellFan Productions. Due to how difficult it is to find just like the animated Pathe Logo from the 90s. But here's the thing, the finding I got is actually an non-VHS version of the Logo. Also, it could've been an slightly altered variation of the alternate variant. As such, it could've been an HQ Quality Version of it. However, this goes for the T.A.T Logo also because it's even more harder to find. This just goes to an point, that the finding I found is somewhat accurate. I know it doesn't show any info for what film it came out on, but that's actually the real case. No one knows where it can be seen on. I would believe it could've been seen on any Pathe Film from 1991-1999, but to this point, I don't know. But, I'll like some help on finding the source of the variant from the Logo History video. Do you have a video link to the one that you found? Also, the "non-VHS" variant you speak of contains the same quality and frame rate as the Interactive version as opposed to the one seen in the logo history video, which has a smoother frame rate and legitimately feels like it's from a VHS recording. Yeah. But here's the problem. If you want me to find footage from the Logo History. First, you need to promise that you have the right guy to know how to easily get just that variant recorded. Simply, I just need to record that small part at the right timing making it as a video containing the variant actually. Also, if you accept my promise, I'll try to get it recorded. It may come out in poor quality as I don't use a PC whatsoever to get it in 1080p, so the closest I can get to is 360p. I'll try to send you the link as soon as possible. Also, I might need a bit of help here. (If your likely able to make the block end a little quicker. Because I don't like it how it ends on an day that seems a little scary. You made it so it ends on September 11th. 9/11! That's an very scary thing for me there as it brings people back memories of an horrible accident with the Twin Towers. Like, for what I know, it sounds awful. I do pay my respects for the people who died. But the date for the ban ending on is very unsettling.) I might had found someone on Youtube who might have an actual 35mm printing of the Pathe/Charguers Logo. Where it follows after the Pathe Video Logo! And it appears people think he's lying and is trying to get attention. If you have an YT account likely. You got to help me convince the guy to upload the footage as soon as possible! We can actually end the madness with people making fake finds for the Pathe/Charguers Combo! Sadly not for T.A.T though, it still remains impossible to find. I don't need another recording of the exact moment it appears on the video. You just need to state where exactly you found that video, either typing it out in full detail or provide a link to the video. This can be done when you reply rather than when you are unblocked. Again, no extra video recording is required. And yeah I hope further information on the alternate variant can be found.
