Background

VCA Pictures (Video Company of America) is an American pornographic film production and distribution company, founded by Russ Hampshire. Throughout the 1970s and 80s VCA produced big budget, plot-oriented feature films, and it was one of the major studios during the Golden Age of Porn. With the advent of home video in the 1980s, VCA dominated the American adult video market alongside Caballero Home Video. In 2003, VCA was bought by Hustler Video. VCA continues to release films to this day.

2nd Logo (1980s)

Logo: On a black background, we see the letters "VCA" with silver outline flash in one-by-one with yellow streaks. The word "Pictures" in yellow neon script font is written under it. "Pictures" shines all over.

Technique: The writing and shining.

Music/Sounds: A synth rock/Hi-NRG-like tune with 3 pings when "VCA" flashes and an ascending synth chord when "Pictures" writes in. A female announcer says "This is a VCA Pictures presentation." near the end.
