1st Logo (Early-Mid 1980s)

Logo: On a black background, we see an image blurs in, in order to reveal that it was the text "VIDCO" in red and pink, with two parallelograms on the sides, and above it was the text "A" and below it was "RELEASE". The image then blurs away.

Technique: The blurring.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on early VIDCO releases from the era.

2nd Logo (Late 1980s-Early 2000s)

Logo: There is a cyan parallelogram with "VIDCO" in the futuristic font with multicolored film-reel holes and center inside the "O", and "The VIDEO COMPANY" below, flipping many times on the black background. When it stops to place itself, the logo shines, and the colors in the film-reel go in the other way and change repeatedly.

Variant: A feature presentation version exists.

Technique: 2D animation. The graphics on the variant are very outdated.

Music/Sounds: A bunch of whooshes, followed by a synth hit, with a quiet synthesized arpeggio holding. The feature presentation variant has less whooshes.

Availability: Spotted on porn tapes.
