Background

Vasipap VIP Video was the home entertainment division of the Vasipap Record Company.

(1986)

Logo: On a live-action shot of an ocean at sunset taken on a ship, two copies of "V.I.P" (the text's lateral faces have a scribble effect to them) zoom out within a square mask. Initially, this animation is very choppy when the closest copy is large, but quickly becomes smooth afterwards. During this sequence, the background fades to black, leaving just the two text copies. They zoom out in the same framerate change as earlier. As the closest copy leaves the screen, the farthest stops and then fades out.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: A relaxing piano piece with faint bongos in the background.

Availability: Seen on το κοριτσι του μπαρ
