Not to be confused with Vertigo Comics or Vertigo Films.

Background

This is the production company of Roy Lee and Doug Davison, formed in 2001. The company didn't use a logo until 2015.

1st Logo (March 9, 2015-February 8, 2019)

Visuals: Essentially just a still logo on a black background with "VERTIGO ENTERTAINMENT" appearing in a geometric font.

Variants:

  • At the end of The Lego Batman Movie, The Lego Ninjago Movie and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, the logo shares the screen with the Lin Pictures (later Rideback) and Lord Miller logos.
    • On The Lego Batman Movie and The Lego Ninjago Movie, the logo is inside a white outline of a rectangle.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Run All Night, The Lego Batman Movie, The Lego Ninjago Movie, Sleepless and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.

2nd Logo (August 25, 2017- )

Visuals: From a white backdrop, the text "VERTIGO" rotates out and "ENTERTAINMENT" fades in below, making the background turn slightly darker after it finishes. "VERTIGO" casts a shadow that extends to the right.

Variant: On It and It Chapter Two, the logo is still.

Technique: CGI by Devastudios.

Audio: The opening theme of the movie. On the official upload of the logo on Vimeo, a quiet synth theme is playing.

Availability: Seen on Death Note, It, It Chapter Two, The Mother, Cobweb, Ordinary Angels, Boy Kills World and the TV series Them.
