This article is about the British company. For the American company, see Victory Television.
Victory Television was a London-based television production company that's a joint venture of Sony Pictures Television and former SPT international production senior vice president of creative development, Victoria Ashbourne, that was founded on June 23, 2011. The UK production company is not to be confused with the defunct U.S. television distribution company Victory Television that became "MTM Television Distribution" in 1986, now "20th Television". On March 1, 2016, SPT announced it would shut down Victory Television after Ashbourne announced to step down to pursue other opportunities.
Visuals: On a white background is the giant 3D red word "VICTORY" in the Century Gothic font with the letter "V" bigger than the rest. The solid red word "TELEVISION" is seen below the word "VICTORY". A magpie flies in from the upper-right hand corner and lands on the letter "O", where it looks at us while the byline "a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company" in black fades and wipes in from the left. Then the magpie moves its tail straight down and looks back to the left, looks down a little and looks back up. The bird then quickly flies over to the letter "C" and moves its tail upward.
Variants:
Technique: CGI.
Audio: The theme of the show or none.
Availability: It's seen on Tough Young Teachers, Draw It!, 5 Minutes to a Fortune, The National Lottery: Win Your Wish List, the short-lived The Exit List, and the now-cancelled Celebrity Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. The Sony Pictures Television logo may appear afterwards on modern prints of their work.
