1st Warning (1979-1985)

Warning: On a black background, we see the words "COPYRIGHT NOTICE" and some warning text in yellow.

Variant: There is a variant with dark orange text.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on VidAmerica releases, such as James Dean: The First American Teenager; also seen on early Embassy releases at the time, including An Eye for An Eye, Summer Lovers, The Soldier, and Zapped!.



2nd Warning (Late 1980s-1992)

Warning: On a lilac background, we see the white words "COPYRIGHT NOTICE" in italics with a long yellow line below. Below is the first half of the warning text in white. Then everything fades out and goes to the second half of the text on the same background.

Variant: On some releases, the second half of the text then fades away, leaving only the background until the second VidAmerica logo animates.

Technique: None, unless you count the first screen fading to the second.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on releases by VidAmerica from 1985 to 1992.
