1st Warning (Late 1980's?-1997)

Warning: On a black background, we see the following text scroll up:

"VIDEO CHILE S.A. advierte que ha sido autorizado exclusivamente por el titular del derecho de autor de la abra cinematografica (incluyendo banda sonora) para reproducir, fabricar, distribuir y comercializar dentro del teritorio del Chile videocassettes que la contengan y solo para uso privado y domestico. Todos los demas derechos quedan reservados. La violacion de cualquiera de los derechos anteriores en cualquier forma que se realice hara incurrir a los infraciores en las responsabilidades y sanciones civiles y penales contempladas en la Ley No.17.336. sobre propiedad intelectual, modificada por la Ley No.18.443. de 1985" Translation: "VIDEO CHILE S.A. warns that it has been exclusively authorized by the owner of the copyright of the cinematographic work (including soundtrack) to reproduce, manufacture, distribute and commercialize within the territory of Chile videocassettes that contain it and only for private and domestic use. All other rights are reserved. Violation of any of the aforementioned rights in whatever form is carried out will cause violators to incur the responsibilities and civil and criminal sanctions provided for in Law No. 17.336. on intellectual property, modified by Law No. 18.443. of 1985."

Legacy: For some reason, there are some errors in the text (i.e. the word "obra" is spelled as "abra").

2nd Warning (1995-2005)
