Video Ediciones del Mediterráneo S.A. (VEMSA) was a Spanish video distributor founded in 1984 by Màrius Bistagne, to acquire content and to distribute them in it's catalog. He intended to buy MIPTV, Europe's largest television content fair, and it was there that he made contact with Toei Animation.[1]
