1st Logo (1983-1984, 1990)
Logo: On a black background, a yellow and black striped box comes in from the top left of the screen and "flips" its way to the center. On the box is the text "VIDEO PROGRAMME DISTRIBUTORS", in white with the 1st letter of them being much larger and in red. "PRESENTS" is also seen below in red. All the text is in italics. The square then flips towards the center, eventually filling up the whole screen for a few seconds, before the entire thing is squished into the center.
Variant: A still and silent variant exists.
Technique: The flipping.
Music/Sounds: Same as the Replay Video logo.
Availability: Rare. It has been seen only on a few tapes by the company. It also appeared on a 1990 VHS of Bloodfight.
2nd Logo (1984-1991)
Nickname: "Tubular Letters"
Logo: Against a light blue background, we see the red letters "VPD" in a quasi-futuristic font with the "V" and "P" connected and the trail going down from behind.
Technique: None
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Rare. Seen on pre-cert releases from the era. This may also be found on some Media Home Entertainment, Wizard Video, and Imperial Entertainment (and possibly also Hi-Tops Video) releases in the UK.
