Background

Videoservice (Видеосервис) is a major distributor of VHS and DVD in Russia.

1st Logo (1991-1996)

Visuals: There is a blue sky with clouds, and a marble grid. A golden spherical shape drops down. It touches the floor and gets squashed. The squashed gold then starts to form a golden shape, which then rotates down to reveal some stylized Russian letters "ВСЕРВИС". Next to the B, there's a full name "КОНЦЕРН ВИДЕОСЕРВИС".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A majestic news-like fanfare.

Availability: Seen on early Videoservice tapes.

2nd Logo (1996-1999)

Visuals: On a blue sky with clouds below, a golden square with an encarved B and C zooms in rotating. A light flare passes through the logo. The Russian name zooms out below with a blur. The light flare then stops moving, and flashes before disappearing.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Can be found on various videotapes of famous films distributed in the country, including those made by Columbia and Tristar.

3rd Logo (1999-2000)

Visuals: None.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An electro-industrial theme with the sounds of machinery heard through the logo.

Availability: It was only used for two years to mark the advent of the new millenium.

4th Logo (2001-2013)

Visuals: There is a stormy sky with dark water below. Two lights appear and swirl to the center, leaving transparent trails making the "ВС". The Videoservice square logo then appears from a burst of light, along with a Russian word zooming out above, followed by the Russian name. The stormy sea background fades out.

Variant: The logo would zoom out to place itself on the warning screen.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A calming bell/guitar theme, with the sounds of thunder and the action.

Availability: Appears on every recent VHS and DVD made by the company.
