Background

Videosonic S.A. was a Spanish company and video distributor that may have founded throughout the 1960s. Through the years, it distributed numerous films released on tape and photography, among others from Konica Minolta until 2005. Videosonic ceased operations and was liquidated in 2006.[1]

Logo (1980s-1990s?)

Visuals: There is a zooming blue space background. After a few seconds, it fades onto a background with two blue grids from the above and the bottom, with the Earth in the middle slowly rotating from the right. The text "vıdeosonıc" flips over and settles in the middle, whilst a red bordered rectangle with two open gaps and the dots from the "i"s does so on the opposite direction. The text "FILMS" zooms out and settles above. Then, "SOCIEDAD ANONIMA" zooms out and settles below. After that, the screen fades back to the zooming blue space background.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A catchy techno soundtrack.

Availability: Seen on a big amount of films they have released, such as Playing for Time.
