Background

Vijayalakshmi Art Pictures (Telugu: విజయలక్ష్మీ ఆర్ట్ పిక్చర్స్), also known as Vijayalakshmi Art Movies, is an Indian film production company, owned by producer T. Trivikrama Rao.

1st Logo (1976-1988)

Logo: In a dimly lit room, we see the silhouette of a statue with a blue light behind it. The statue gets illuminated, revealing it to be of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi on her lotus throne. The lotus is above a blue pedestal which reads "VIJAYALAKSHMI ART PICTURES". The pedestal is surrounded by pink roses and flanked by two oil lamps, with two coconuts visible as offerings to the goddess. Incense smoke can be seen rising behind the candles. The camera zooms in slightly.

FX/SFX: Live action.

Music/Sounds: Hindu religious chanting and music.

Availability: Seen on their releases such as Monagadu, Justice Chowdary, Waqt Ki Awaz, and others.

2nd Logo (1985, 1992, 1996-2001)

Logo: On a red curtain backdrop, we see a statue of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi holding lotus flowers. Incense sticks, coconuts and flower petals are seen in front of the statue, which is flanked by two oil lamps. All of this is on a blue pedestal which has "VIJAYALAKSHMI ART MOVIES" engraved in gold. Pink roses surround the pedestal.

FX/SFX: Live action.

Music/Sounds: Hindu religious chanting and music.

Availability: Seen on Donga, Rowdy Inspector, Sarada Bullodu, Aahvaanam, Badri, and Prematho Raa.

3rd Logo (1990, 1994)

Logo: Similar to the first logo, except the statue is now in white, the coconuts are on the pedestal, there are four lamps and fruits can be seen among the roses. The logo is also in widescreen. The pedestal may read either "VIJAYALAKSHMI ART MOVIES" (Kondaveeti Donga, Bobbili Shamlam) or "VIJAYALAKSHMI ART PICTURES" (Jamai Raja).

FX/SFX: Live action.

Music/Sounds: Hindu religious chanting and music.

Availability: Can be seen on Kondaveeti Donga, Jamai Raja, and Bobbili Shamlam.
