Not to be confused with the Russian company.
Background
This was the home video division of The Vista Organization. Nicholas P. Santrizos was the head of this division. Santrizos later went on to start Trylon Video after Vista Home Video folded.
Logo (1986-1988)
Visuals: On a white background, a large version of the Vista Organization print logo is seen in a rainbow-colored gradient, with silver films rolled over the "V" and "A" to represent the odd shaping they have. Below it is the text "HOME VIDEO" and below that is "THE VISTA ORGANIZATION HOME VIDEO CORP", each in smaller and smaller print. Everything but the last line of text is surrounded by a thin rectangular border.
Technique: A still computer graphic.
Audio: None.
Availability: Appears on VHS copies of Howling III: The Marsupials, Scene of the Crime, Three for the Road, Mania: Episodes in Terror, Men (1985), Blood Tracks, The Crazies (1973), Overkill, Diary of the Dead (1976), Season of the Witch (1972), Skateboard (Starring Chad McQueen), Revenge of the Barbarians, and No One Cries Forever, among others.
