Background

Vixy.net was a Japanese open-source digital video transcoding service established by Takumi Mori. The website was opened in 2006 and seems to have went out of service sometime in 2016. The service allowed downloading of FLV and YouTube videos.

Logo (2006-2016)

Visuals: Over a black background, the slanted white wordmark "VIXY" in a segmented, geometric font is seen, with a trademark symbol next to it. Below, there is the byline "a digital video transcoding and proxying technology".

Technique: A still computerized graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: This was seen on any video downloaded using the Vixy.net service, like this video.
