Background

WIN Productions is the production arm of the WIN Network, it is the largest regional TV broadcaster in Australia. Originally starting in the city of Wollongong, New South Wales (as TV station WIN-4), it aggressively purchased regional stations during aggregation with the Nine Network in the mid 80s. for many years, WIN was an affiliate of the Nine Network and carried most of its branding. However, in July 2016, after a contract dispute with Nine over their catch-up streaming service, WIN became an affiliate of Network Ten. In July 2021, WIN reverted back to being an affiliate of the Nine Network.

1st Logo (c. 2000-2002)

Visuals: On a granite background, there are three movements. The first movement is a shining light that moves from the top left of the screen to the bottom right. The second movement is the WIN logo (which is the same as the Nine Network logo except the "9" is replaced by "WIN") which spins around until it faces at the viewer. The third movement is a make up of "TELEVISION" on top, "NETWORK PRODUCTIONS" in the middle and a copyright date on the bottom. The logo and the text stop into place as a URL fades in below. The URL reads "www.winnet.com.au". The background slowly fades out, leaving only the WIN logo, "TELEVISION", "NETWORK PRODUCTIONS" and the copyright stamp.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A whooshing sound followed by a thump and an electric guitar cord.
