Background
WJAG was Jefferson High School's local TV station in Bloomington, Minnesota that was launched in the mid-70's alongside KTAV and WLIN.
Logo (March 6, 1987)
Visuals: On a blue background with its left section in white, the channel's logo appears in a stamp-like effect. The stylized words "WJAG TV" with "TV" underneath "AG" are inside a rhombus, both of which are against a white circle with the words "BLOOMINGTON EDUCATIONAL CABLE" arching on the bottom half. An extra outline of a circle surrounds aforementioned text. Shortly after, the opening/ending credits of the program are superimposed into the shot. After the credits, the logo plays in reverse.
Variants: Sometimes in the opening credits, the logo itself is also green screened into the opening footage, inverting the logo and left bar to blue.
Technique: Analog computer animation.
Audio: The opening/closing of the program.
Availability: It was so far seen on a March 6, 1987 boys' basketball game between Jefferson and Rosemount.
Final Note
Later on, WJAG programs have switched to the Bloomington Educational Cable Television logo.
