Background

This is the science division of WNET.

Logo (1976)

Visuals: On a purple background, there are 9 white lines varying in length emerging from the left. The lines eventually curve towards one another, forming a concentric circular pattern, with the third-to-bottom line having a green circle within it. As the lines form a circular pattern, the circle orbits around one of the lines, while the pattern morphs and slowly zooms away, along with a red circle appearing within the center of the pattern, forming a plantary atom model. A stylized human face silhouette on the left along with "WNET SCIENCE" underneath fades in once the pattern stops morphing and the circle stops spinning.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: A held synth note which stops when the other components fade in.

Availability: Only known to appear on Sexuality: The Human Heritage.
