Background

WPBS-TV is a PBS station located in Watertown, New York. It began in 1971 as WNPE-TV. In the late 1990s, the call sign changed to WPBS-TV. It used the "-DT" suffix from 2009 to 2020.

1st Logo (2009?-2017?)

Visuals: Over a black background, the text "A PRODUCTION OF" is seen and below it is the WPBS logo. Below the WPBS logo is the text "DIGITAL TV." While the logo is playing, there is a moving light shine through the WPBS logo.

Audio: A loud "whooshing" sound.

Availability: Seen on WPBS-produced programming at the time, including "Painting with Wilson Bickford."

2nd Logo (2017?-2020)

Visuals: On a PBS background, we see the WPBS logo. The text "A PRODUCTION OF" above and/or "DIGITAL TV" below the WPBS logo can be seen, as well as the byline "© *year* St. Lawrence Valley E.T.V. Council, Inc."

Technique: Basic animation.

Audio: Most likely the generic PBS music.

Availability: Like before, seen on WPBS-produced programming at the time.
